Nicholas
Langston-Able was born and educated in Oxfordshire.
He qualified as a teacher in Bristol where he has been living for
the last twelve years.
His first backpacking trip to south-east Asia was to Singapore,
Sarawak (Borneo), peninsular Malaysia and Thailand; he has returned to
Thailand twice, leading expeditions with small groups of students.
His
travels around Indonesia have included the islands of Java, Bali, Lombok
and Sumatra.
His last independent trip was to Brunei and Sabah in Borneo where
he climbed Mount Kinabalu; his journey then took him to Bali, Flores and
Rinca. In
2006 he accompanied a group of students to Sarawak and Sabah as part of a
‘World Challenge’ expedition.
Nick
is an experienced public speaker and is
available for lectures, festivals and other appearances. He also
runs the website www.EconomicsRevealed.co.uk
